Venue
The VTI Course will take place at Emmanuel College, Cambridge, on the days of 12th and 13th September 2006. Emmanuel College was founded in 1584 on the site of a Dominican priory, and occupies tranquil and deceptively spacious grounds in the heart of Cambridge, within a few minutes walk of shops, restaurants, pubs, other colleges and the River Cam.
The Course will be held in the Queen's Building at the College, a purpose-built conference centre that was completed in 1995. It has a fine first-floor auditorium, and wooden seating - you are welcome to bring a cushion!
Registration
Personal registration on the afternoon of Tuesday, 6th September will take place in the Timmy Hele Seminar Room on the ground floor
Wednesday morning in the main foyer from 08,30 am.
Tea and coffee will be available in the Old Library during the refreshment breaks, and meals will be served in the Hall.
You may also like to visit the college chapel, designed by Sir Christopher Wren.
Standard accommodation will be in basic, single study-bedrooms in the College. Although participants are encouraged to stay in College, you may choose to stay in a hotel in the city. Those preferring hotel accommodation should let us know in plenty of time, as there is tremendous pressure on hotel accommodation in Cambridge. Please see the Accommodation page for the options we can offer.
